Is Your Salad Dressing Sabotaging Your Healthy Diet?

Let’s be real. Majority of us love our salads to taste good so we can always look forward to enjoying some with our meals. Our main aim is to consume more salads for optimal health. However, we may be doing more harm than good when we purchase the store -bought salad dressings. This is because these dressings are often loaded with tons of calories, sugar (think high-fructose corn syrup!), unhealthy oils (think trans fat!), sodium, artificial colors, flavors and preservatives. I challenge you to try our homemade all natural lemon salad dressing recipe for a worry-free and nourishing yummy salad.

Ingrediets:

1/3 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

2 tablespoons raw honey

1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil

1 teaspoon cold pressed flax seed oil

Directions:

Combine all ingredients together. Whisk all ingredients until well combined. Pour in a 16oz covered mason jar and store in refrigerator for up to a week.

***Always choose organic produce when available. This will help you avoid contamination due to pesticides and other genetically modified organisms along with their unpleasant side effects.
