3lbs organic yellow potatoes
1/4 cup olive oil (Not extra virgin)
2 Teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
Wash potatoes with vegetable brush and leave skin on (for extra fiber)
Cut potatoes in wedges
Soak potatoes in cold water for about 30 mins to remove extra starch
Drain water and dry potatoes in clean kitchen towel
Place cut potatoes in a large mixing bowl and toss with oil and seasonings
Bake for 20 mins on 375, and increase oven temperature to 425 and continue to bake for another 25 mins until fries turn golden brown.
