Store bought cereals are loaded with tons of unhealthy ingredients that may be detrimental to the health. Being a mom of three young children, I strongly believe in nourishing them with foods that are pure, nutritious and delicious. I have come to realize that we are what we eat, and our bodies do not deserve to be fed certain food ingredients. I feel guilty having bought store bought cereals, although I tried buying the best of them. Even the best of the best is still loaded with tons of sugar and some kind of preservatives I would rather stay away from. Making my own granola is one of the best accomplishments I have because my family loves it and would not even trade it for those on the store shelves. Try my homemade granola cereal and your family will thank you! Enjoy with yogurt, as snack or as a perfect meal.
