Matcha tea is a special kind of green tea grown and produced in Japan. It’s leaves are carefully stone ground to produce a beautiful green powder. It contains about 120 times more antioxidants than regular green tea. Matcha tea is high in chlorophyll, antioxidants, provides increased and sustained energy WITHOUT THE CRASH, and improves serotonin levels (feel good hormone) to boost mood. It’s also known to reduce Inflammation. Enjoy in smoothies, as warm or cool lattes over ice depending on how you feel. Perfect for a pick me up in the afternoons too. I love mine with my homemade coconut milk, and a little honey 😋

Ingredients:

1 cup coconut milk

1/2 to 1 tsp Matcha Powder

1 tbsp hot water

1 tsp raw honey(optional)

Directions:

Dilute match powder in hot water in a mug. Warm up your coconut milk and pour into the mug. Stir the mixture. Add more sweetener if desired. Enjoy immediately.
