Restaurant Style Green Beans Stir-Fry

Green Beans are heart healthy and full of essential vitamins and minerals our bodies need to thrive. Add this delicious stir fry to this week’s menu and treat yourself to a healthy meal your body deserves.

Ingredients

  • 1lb boneless chicken breast (sliced thinly)
  • 2 tablespoons avocado/pure olive oil
  • ½ red bell pepper
  • ½ yellow bell pepper
  • ½ cup carrots cut up in bite sized chunks
  • Salt, black pepper to taste
  • ½ teaspoon thyme, sage, curry  to taste
  • Coconut aminos
  • Organic Stone Ground Mustard
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 2 cups green beans

Preparation 

  1. In a large skillet, add 1 tablespoon of oil and let warm over medium heat
  2. Add chicken, curry, thyme, and sage with pepper and salt
  3. Cover pot and cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until cooked through 
  4. Add onions, yellow and red bell peppers stir and cook uncovered until slightly tender
  5. Add green beans, cover pot and let steam for about 2 minutes until beans are tender but still dark green.
  6. Mix  mustard, coconut aminos, and sesame oils in a small bowl and drizzle over green beans. Stir and let cook for another 40 seconds.
  7. Remove from heat and leave the skillet slightly uncovered to prevent vegetables from further heat.
  8. Serve and Enjoy.
