Tuna Avocado Sandwich (With Sourdough Bread)

Healthy Fast Food? Yes please!
Sourdough bread is not negotiable in my home. It’s very high in nutrients and antioxidants that the body can easy absorb. It contains lactic acid bacteria that destroys certain kinds of acids found in regular breads. This results in an increased availability of nutrients like potassium, folate, and magnesium. Make the healthy switch today!

Ingredients: Serves 1

  • 1 can Tuna
  • Sea Salt & Black Pepper (to taste)
  • 1 stalk Celery (finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsps Red Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsps Diced Tomatoes
  • 1/2 Avocado (medium)
  • 3 1/2 ozs Sourdough Bread (toasted)

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl add the tuna, salt and pepper, tomatoes, celery, and red onion. Mix together until well combined. Add the avocado and mash into the tuna mixture. 
  2. Scoop the tuna on top of one of the slices of bread and place the other slice on top. Slice and enjoy the Tasty & healthy Tuna Avocado Sandwich!
